Tips For Buying A Diamond Engagement Ring

Diamond is the girl`s best friend. If you gift someone make sure it is something special. Before buying it, there are four Cs to keep in mind. The first one being the color, the second one is clarity, the third one is cut and the last one is the carat.

The absolutely perfect stone is colorless for sure. There are several grades or classes given according to their color in order to distinguish. The less grade or yellow color suggests a rare gem. Another important characteristic in selecting it is the cut of the diamond because it points out the features like the brilliance and spark of the diamond. It is the cut which determine the quantity of light that enters a diamond and passes out of it producing a prism like sparkle. The next C is that of the clarity.

This feature determines the amount of impurities or inclusions present inside it. The diamond with clarity like the crystal is most popular and hence the most expensive. After all the other 3Cs are dealt with, its time for the last and final C to be determined. This C stands for Carat or carat weight. This is mainly budget effective, and therefore it is considered as the last one. For example the following diamond has characteristics; 1.01 carat Asscher diamond has ideal cut, I color, VVS2 clarity and 1.01 carat weight.

The diamond earrings are of the forms like studs, chandelier, diamond hearts and diamond drops. The diamond engagement rings are available in forms like solitaires, three stoned, and with side stones.
